Open Channel Ultraviolet Disinfection Equipment
The open channel ultraviolet disinfection equipment designed by Onyx is of modular structure, which is placed in the open channel of the tail section of the sewage treatment plant, for the purpose of tail water disinfection.
The open channel ultraviolet disinfection equipment mainly includes the following components: ultraviolet lamp module group (ultraviolet lamp tube, quartz sleeve, module rack, etc.), module installation and maintenance bracket, ultraviolet intensity monitoring system, low water level sensor, ballast central control integrated cabinet, deflector, automatic cleaning system, cleaning drive system, water level control system, etc. It can complete all normal disinfection, operation, monitoring and control functions.

✦ Technological innovation: ballast water cooling technology to realize underwater integration.
✦ All lamps are parallel to each other and evenly arranged. The direction of the ultraviolet lamp is the same as that of the water flow. All lamps and lamp electrodes in the module are completely immersed in sewage, and the lamps are naturally cooled by sewage.
✦ Onyx automatic cleaning system works based on the online mechanical cleaning mode.
The cleaning drive system is driven pneumatically to prevent the pollution caused by hydraulic oil leakage and the secondary pollution of water caused by on-line chemical cleaning.
✦ The channel of the Onyx UV disinfection system provided is equipped with a low water level sensor. Therefore, when the water level is lower than the set minimum water level, the system will automatically give an alarm and turn off the relevant lights.
✦ Onyx UV disinfection system is equipped with low pressure and ultra high strength UV lamp and power adjustable electronic ballast. It can adjust the output power in the range of 50% - 100% according to the change of the quality and quantity of the effluent from the sewage treatment plant and in combination with the flow signal into the disinfection channel provided by the sewage treatment plant. This not only ensures the effective output of ultraviolet light, but also saves power.
✦ The electronic ballast is integrated with the module. The former is sealed by 316 stainless steel and installed in the module.
The ballast is naturally cooled by flowing water, which doesn't need to be cooled in the outside air or in a newly built air conditioning room. The sealing grade of electronic ballast is IP68.
